This has been pinging around what passes for the left wing of the blogosphere the last few days. Seems famed New Yorker cartoonist and children's-book author Syd Hoff also worked under the name A. Redfield, cartooning for The Daily Worker. He did a series called "The Ruling Clawss."I'm including one cartoon as a taster. I have to say, these are pretty refreshing. They come out of a time when the Left in America actually stood for something - when there really was a Left in America.
Obviously, I'm pretty excited by what's going on in Wisconsin. Has anything like this happened in my lifetime?
